It's a busy weekend ahead with lots happening – an artisan market, a wedding open day and live music.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days: 

Saturday, September 17th  

The Olive and Stitch Market is on at Alsager Civic with local gift and crafts stalls.

Stalls include handmade embroidered gifts, plants, herbs, handmade cards, cosmetics, bags and cushions. Entry is free.

At The Manor House Hotel, there's a wedding open day from 10 am until 4 pm.

Alsager Town Football Club, aka The Bullets, are away to Barnton today with a 3pm kick-off. 

At Alsager Social club in Longview Avenue, the Alsager Soul Suite is on. Tickets are £5 on the door and it starts at 7.30 pm.

The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue has Andrew James presenting his tribute to the music and songs of Phil Collins. Tickets are £10.00 for members or £12.50 for guests.

Lawton Memorial Hall in Church Lawton there's a Club Classics extravaganza starting at 7.30 pm. Tickets are £10 and chip baps will be on sale. Contact 07432 739313 or [email protected] for tickets.  

Sunday, September 18th   

The Manor House Hotel has a wedding open day from 10 am until 4 pm.

Ability for All Inclusive Cycling has cycling for children who might find cycling on two-wheeled bikes challenging at Alsager Leisure Centre. 

Helmets are provided but you can take your own if you prefer. The event takes place from 1.30 pm until 2.15 pm.

Alsager Bridge Club meet at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue from 6.30 pm until 10 pm. 

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere. 

At Bank Corner, Ben Maitland is live from 7pm onwards.
