Friday, March 15th

Looking for a book to chill with after during these cold days? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road? They have a book on almost every subject and some of them are new, especially cookery books.

In the evening, The Mere Inn has live music with The Vans at 8.30 pm.

Alsager Football club has local football legends, Lou Macari and John Rudge, reliving their early 90s days with Stoke City and Port Vale as the two clubs battled it out for promotion and cup glory. Tickets are £20 and include a pie and peas supper. Contact Terry Greer on 07787 950429 for details.

Saturday, March 16th

Alsager Book Emporium is open again from 10 am until 2 pm.

Alsager Civic has the Olive & Stitch artisan market from 9.30 am until 1 pm with local artisans selling handmade crafts. l

Alsager Civic has a comedy night from 8 pm (details below) which is sadly sold out.

Alsager Social Club has Alsager Soul Suite from 7.30 pm until midnight in Longview Avenue. The cost if £5 to pay on the door.

Monday, March 18th

Fancy getting fit as well as meeting new friends? Dance teacher, Mark Farrugia is at Alsager Civic with his Strictly Dance Fit classes from 6 pm until 7 pm. Here's a story we wrote about him here
