Friday, December 29th

Looking for a book to chill with after a busy festive period? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road? They have a book on almost every subject and some of them are new, especially cookery books.

Fancy some live music to wind down after the busy festive period? The Mere Inn has the Duo Brothers at 8.30 pm.

At Alsager Golf Club, Linley there's a members' disco at 7.30 pm - pop along and enjoy!

Saturday, December 30th

Alsager Book Emporium is open again from 10 am until 2 pm.

Alsager Town Football Club aka The Bullets are away to Barnton with a 3 pm kick-off.

Sunday, December 31st 

It's party time and there's lots happening! The Mere Inn in Crewe Road has a New Year's Eve special - an early doors Sunday session from 2 pm until 8 pm. Enjoy a lazy afternoon at The Mere with a live acoustic set from Gav Allport from 5pm - 7 pm with last orders at 8 pm.

At Alsager Golf Club, Linley there's a New Year's Eve party from 7.30 pm until late. Free entry and all welcome.

Alsager Civic has a New Year's eve event - a family party. A family ticket which admits two adults and two children costs £70 while adult tickets are £23 and children's tickets are £16. Ticket price includes buffet platters and a picnic box for children. Doors open at 7 pm. Ticket details available by calling 01270 879711.

Monday, January 1st

Happy New Year!

The Mere Inn in Crewe Road is open from 12 pm - 6 pm. Nothing blows the cobwebs away more than a brisk New Year's Day walk finished off with a drink in the pub.
