It's a busy weekend ahead in Alsager and there's lots happening from a plant swap sale, to live music and comedy.

Friday, May 20th

One man, one guitar and a hundred songs. Tony Donovan is at the Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue.

At Bank Corner, DJ Gary O is on the decks.

Saturday, May 21st  

Feeling a bit jaded and wanting to get fit? Wild Bootcamp in The Woods is a great way to get moving in the outdoors.

The Whirligig Wild Boot camp takes in School Wood, Scholar Green is a circuit-style fitness group for those who want to exercise in fresh air with a friendly group.

The Olive and Stitch Market is on from 9.30am - 1pm at Alsager Civic. There will be an array of gifts and food to buy from Middle Eastern inspired food to gorgeous sweet treats.

Oakhanger Church and Community Centre has a plant swap from 10.30am until 12 noon.

Also happening today is The Cake Lady's monthly pop up tea room upstairs in the Two Doors Studio from 11am until 3pm with home baked cakes, using local ingredients available.

In the evening, Ey Up Duck's 'Laughing Duck' has Joe Zalias, Gerry Kyei, and Ada Campe. Their impressive credits include the Comedy Store, Spike TV, The Breakfast show, and much more – check for ticket availability.

At Bank Corner, Alsager's big night out with DJ MaVX on from 9pm until 2am.

 Sunday, May 22nd

 

Bank Corner Darla Jade will be performing live at 6.30pm.

Alsager Bridge Club is at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue, meeting from 6.30pm until 10pm.

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere.
