It's a busy weekend ahead in Alsager with a boot camp, craft and gift fair, tribute act and plant fair.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Saturday, May 28th       

Feeling a bit jaded and wanting to get fit? Wild Bootcamp in The Woods is a great way to get moving in the outdoors.

The Whirligig Wild Bootcamp takes in School Wood, Scholar Green is a circuit-style fitness group for those who want to exercise in fresh air with a friendly group.

At Alsager Civic, there's a craft and gift fair with local artisans, crafters, makers and creators displaying a host of gifts and crafts.

The fun starts at 9am and runs until 1pm.

At Two Doors Studio, Bev has a amazing display of crystals upstairs from 10am until 4pm. Did you know that each crystal has its own healing frequencies that can work to help you on a day to day basis?

At The Bank Corner, the Champions League final is being shown followed by followed by DJ Mavx with some club tunes into the early hours.

At the Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue, Geoff Lloyd is returning for his fourth Rod Stewart Tribute night. Members are £10 and non-members £12.50. 

Sunday, May 29th   

Rode Hall at Scholar Green has a plant fair – a chance to buy some special plants as well as meet specialist plant growers and top nurseries. 

It runs from 11 am until 4pm and the gardens and tearooms are also open so you can make the most of your day. Admission is £6 and children £2.50 with under 5's free.

At Alsager Seventh-Day Adventist Church there's a fun day from 1pm until 4pm.

Meanwhile Alsager Bridge Club is at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue, meeting from 6.30pm until 10pm.

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere.
