It's a busy weekend ahead with the two-day Alsager Music Festival and an Olive and Stitch market plus other events.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Saturday, July 16th    

Feeling a bit jaded and wanting to get fit? Wild Bootcamp in The Woods is a great way to get moving in the outdoors.

The Whirligig Wild Boot camp takes in School Wood, Scholar Green is a circuit-style fitness group for those who want to exercise in fresh air with a friendly group.

Alsager's monthly Olive and Stitch market takes place at Alsager Civic from 9.30 am until 1 am.

Stall holders include Maralyn's Cards, Patricia Mary Crafts, Crafts of Cheshire, Right Gift 22, Lenas-Tasty-Treats-Torts, Naomi Bakes, Morria Jewellery, The Wonder Emporium, plus many others.

Go along and have a look and treat yourself to a bargain or two.

Alsager Music Festival kicks off with Greg Murray & The Seven Wonders, Muddy Elephant in The Marquee, Jimi the Hat on the Concrete Stage and Olivia Lindblad in The Sunken Garden.

Nine hours later, the party comes to a close with everyone up and dancing to the classic rock

of the Double Denim Company.

At the Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue Billy West performs Freddie Mercury.

At Bank Corner, it's Bounce Saturdays from 9 am until 2 am.

 

Sunday, July 17th  

Alsager Music Festival continues into its second day while Alsager Bridge Club meet at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue from 6.30pm until 10pm.

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere.
