Three great events taking place in Alsager this weekend – chance to watch some football at the pub, glorious snowdrop walk and a pool club meeting.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days: Friday February 4th Alsager Town Football Club are away this weekend to Cheadle Town on Saturday. The Bank Corner is screening Manchester United v Middlesborough in the fourth round cup of the FA at 8pm. Chance to grab a pint (or two!) and start the weekend wind down in style. Saturday February 5th Spring is in the air … Rode Hall Gardens in Scholar Green opens its wonderful Snowdrop Walks on

February 5th.

The walks run until March 6th and run from Wednesdays until Sundays 11am – 4pm.

Entrance £6/Children over 5 £2.50

Sunday February 6th Alsager Pool League has its first meeting at Radway Green Sports & Social Club in Longview Avenue this Sunday in the members bar at 11am. There are three teams looking to register this season but there's room for one more team. Two play at home while two play away. So if you're thinking of starting up your own team and see yourself as captain please join meeting and inform tell us about your team.
