A Meatloaf tribute show, a three-hour yoga workshop, horse dressage and a town rose planting ceremony – it's all happening in Alsager this weekend.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days: Saturday January 22nd Yoga helps you to relax and there's a chance to learn some important tips, especially how it can help during the menopause, at a three hour workshop at IQ Therapies in Sandbach Road South. Two yoga teachers will lead the event which takes place from 10 am until 1pm. In the evening, Matt Shaw is live with his Meat Loaf and Anthems Show at the Thirteen in Cedar Avenue starting at 7.30 pm. Sunday January 23rd Alsager Equestrian Centre have dressage and show jumping while in the afternoon there's an important rose planting ceremony in Alsager Remembrance Garden. Joelle Warren, the Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire is planting the Ted White rose raising money for the Royal British Legion which will be blessed by the Rev'd Michelle Goodrich.
