In the evening, Bank Corner has a special guest. Known for his Jamaican food, Mr Bigz Flavours, the famous food man is putting on another hat – his DJ skills bringing the best of dance hall, hip hop, R & B, Garage and House. Meanwhile at Alsager Golf Club there's an event on with a difference – Jazz Christmas Suite with Alan Barnes at 8pm. Supported by The Hootin' Annies Big Band, Alan Barnes presents his Christmas Carol Suite with something for everyone – music and literature. Readings from the original Dickens tell the story, and after each scene, Alan and the Hootin' Annies Big band bring the story to life, switching hilarity to pathos. Tickets £12 on the door or in advance from [email protected] Sunday December 5th Charity football team, CALM 84 FC Crewe, are holding a charity match against Supporting Charities FC which features celebrities from Emmerdale and Hollyoaks. The game is being played at Alsager Town's Wood Park with kick-off 2pm. Tickets are £5 for adults, 5-16 £1.
