It's Remembrance weekend so services and parades are taking place in memory of those who have fallen.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Saturday November 13th

Alsager Equestrian Centre has the Clare Winton Clinic hosted by South Cheshire Riding Club starting at 9am. Open to members and non-members three riders per group.

Alsager Town Football Club's first team is away to Brocton for fans who are attending that match.

Meanwhile Alsager Social Club has an event with a difference – 'Lest We Forget' gig for Remembrance weekend starring a number of bands.

Sunday November 14th

Alsager's Remembrance parade moves off from the Civic Centre car park at 2.30 pm with a wreath laying ceremony and Act of Remembrance at the War

Memorial in Sandbach Road South at 2.40pm.

After the ceremony, the parade will march to St Mary's Church, Crewe Road for the Remembrance Service at 3pm.
