Alsager's famous weekly market goes inside from today (Wednesday).

The new-look market, first set up in April 1994 and run by Alsager Town Council, used to take place on Fairview car park.

But now the market has gone inside Alsager Civic and stall holders are hoping it goes from strength to strength.

The town council said it took the move to save money and keep council tax for residents as low as possible.

Alsager Nub News told in January https://alsager.nub.news/news/local-news/alsagers-weekly-market-set-to-take-on-a-new-look-as-part-of-cost-cutting-measures-167079 how the town council would save £17,000 by moving the market.

Alsager Nub News wishes stall holders every success with the new-look market.
