With the temperatures cooling, take a look at these events in and around Alsager which can help you forget about the cold and keep the fun going into autumn.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Saturday 9th October

Pride in Alsager day of celebrations

Pride in Alsager have two events on Saturday. At 12.30pm, they will be meeting near the Spar shop in Crewe Road, Alsager for a 'flash mob' parade.

A parade of music, dance, waving rainbows and whistles will move through the town starting at 12.30 pm near the Spar Alsager in Crewe Road.

The group will then walk down Ashmore's Lane, along Station Road, finishing up at Milton Park where some members are planning to picnic.

Pride in Alsager are continuing their day of celebrations with a 'Pride at Night' evening of celebration and entertainment at Alsager Social Club in Radway Green from 6pm – 1 am.

Entertainment includes the Double Denim Company, Hayley Elliott, Slugs Ate My Parents and Ruby Von-Trappe as well as a raffle.Tickets are available from Alsager Social Club and Paradox Vapes.

Sunday 9th October

Dressage and Showjumping Day

Alsager Equestrian Centre in Chells Hill, Church Lawton is holding a dressage and showjumping day.

Dressage tests are taking place in the outdoor arenas while show jumping will take place in the indoor arenas.

Riders from all over the county are expected to attend the event at this popular venue.
