Quiz lover, Chloe Bata, is riding high with her horse, thanks to winning a bumper £20,000 on the TV show, The Chase.

Chloe, who runs Skedaddle dog walking and pet services, entered the show pre-Covid but didn't get in that time but after applying again, she was offered a place on the show.

And the episode, filmed at Borehamwood, was finally aired recently allowing the quiz-loving 36-year-old from Edward's Way in Alsager to watch herself on TV.

"I'm a bit of an all-rounder when it comes to the questions," she said. "I love science, biology and nature. We had a really high score .

"It was a great experience and we all did well. It's filmed without any audience."

Chloe is now applying to be on other shows such as Pointless, the One per cent club and music programmes.

Appearing on The Chase also enabled Chloe to fulfil a life-long ambition of owning her own horse.

She said: "The £80,000 was split between the four of us. I used mine to buy a horse, something I've always wanted to do."

But Chloe need not worry about not getting her quiz fix for she and her friends go along to the weekly quiz at Welles and Cross in Sandbach.

She said: "I just love quizzes and testing my knowledge."
