Local man, James Parker-Aiken, has been shortlisted for a prestigious industry award with votes now open until Monday 30 September.

James, who went to nearby Sandbach School and is now head of design and photography at South Cheshire marketing firm, Swift Cheshire, has been shortlisted for the 'Aspiring leader award', in the critically acclaimed Prolific North Marketing Awards. 

James has made it to the final six in the category, recognised for his pivotal role in the success of the firm and now eagerly awaits the outcome at an exclusive award ceremony taking place at Manchester's United's Old Trafford Stadium on Thursday 31 October. 

James Parker-Aiken has been shortlisted for the 'Aspiring leader award', in the critically acclaimed Prolific North Marketing Awards (Prolific North).

The winner of the category will be decided by a combination of public vote and judges' scores, with the public vote closing in just six days' time, on Monday 30 September. You can cast your vote HERE.

Prolific North is the go-to source for all media, marketing and tech-related news across the North and Scotland, with its Marketing Awards famous for celebrating excellence, creativity and innovation in the industry. 

James said: "This really feels like a pinch me moment, I'm equal parts honoured, humbled and in complete disbelief to be shortlisted for such a prestigious marketing award. 

"I love my job and take great joy in working with the entire Swift Cheshire team to deliver big ideas and big outcomes for our clients. While this is an individual nomination, it really is a team effort that's enabled me to get here. 

"I am proud to make it this far in the process and anything from here on is a bonus –I now look forward to celebrating in October at what is sure to be a fantastic event."

James Parker-Aiken now eagerly awaits the outcome at an exclusive award ceremony taking place at Manchester's United's Old Trafford Stadium on Thursday 31 October (Prolific North).

The firm recently announced it had been shortlisted for 'Best digital agency' in the UK Small Business Awards.
