Thursday, September 5th

Do you like jazz music? Alsager Golf and Country Club Jazz Society has saxophonist Alex Clarke with the George King Trio.

As a finalist at the BBC Young Jazz Musician of the Year 2020, winner of the rising star category in the 2019 British Jazz awards and jazz newcomer of the year nominee in the 2021 and 2022 Parliamentary Jazz awards.

And there's a chance to see him perform live at the the golf club at 8 pm. All are welcome, £7 cash on the door with an optional raffle.

Friday, September 6th

Fancy some live music? The Pluckers are at The Mere Inn at 8.30 pm. Don't miss this chance to grab a pint or glass of wine and get your weekend off to a great start in a fantastic pub. The Pluckers are a great acoustic duo - go along and see them!

Looking for a book to chill with? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road? They have a book on almost every subject and some of them are new, especially cookery books.

Saturday, September 7th

It's Rode Hall monthly farmer's market at Scholar Green from 9 am until 1 pm. A bustling event with an array of stalls and produce on sale.

It's a local football derby with Alsager Town Football Club aka The Bullets playing local rivals Sandbach United away at Sandbach in Hind Heath Road with a 3 pm kick-off. Don't miss this game!

Sunday, September 8th

Have you got a pooch with talent? There's a chance to show him or her off at a dog show at Alsager Civic from 11 am until 2 pm - details are on the poster below.
