Friday, November 29th

Enjoy a fabulous evening of Christmas shopping with a wide range of craft and gift stalls selling everything from Christmas wreaths to quirky gifts at the Twilight event at Alsager Civic from 5.30 pm until 8.45 pm.

Browse the stalls selling beautiful items not found on the high street. Free admission and the bar will be open. A relaxed way to do your Christmas shopping.

Alsager Community Theatre starts it dinner murder mystery tour 'The Knife Before Christmas' at Alsager Golf and Country club at 7.30 pm.

Fry & Boyle, an old-fashioned department store in Snogsbury, was founded in 1893 by Horace Fry and Jacob Boyle, it has always been managed by the families and is now owned and run by Lance Boyle – a bully with a drink problem!

He has agreed to play Santa to a few selected staff members on Christmas Eve, but only because he has a few surprise presents of his own to give.

To book tickets and check if available, call Alsager Golf and Country Club on 01270 875 700. Check out Alsager Community Theatre's page here to find out where else 'The Knife Before Christmas' is taking place.

Earlier in the day, Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road is open. They have a book on almost every subject and some of them are new, especially cookery books - perfect for Christmas presents! It's open Friday 10 am–2 pm and Saturdays 10 am–2 pm.
