Spring is in the air and it's a busy weekend ahead with lots happening in Alsager.

Friday, April 4th

Fancy a book to chill over the weekend? Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road is open 10 am – 2 pm. Plenty of books to buy, many of them brand new!

Saturday, April 5th

Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road is open 10 am – 2 pm.

It's Rode Hall Easter Farmer's Market at Scholar Green. Spring has finally sprung and there will be over 70 indoor and outdoor artisan food and craft stalls. Live music, courtyard kitchen open and the Spring gardens too! The market opens at 9 am and finishes at 1.30 pm. Don't miss it!

Alsager Town Football Club aka The Bullets are at home to Barnton with a 3 pm kick-off. Don't miss it!

Crewe Concert Band are performing at Alsager Civic in a 'Christie Charity Concert' at 2.30 pm. Formed in 1982 for woodwind and brass players of all ages, up until April 2011 the band was known as 'Crewe West End Concert Band', the name being taken from the band's original rehearsal venue.

Members are predominantly amateur musicians, although some are, or have been, professional musicians and/or music teachers, and come together through a shared love of making music. Don't miss this chance to hear them and raise money for the Christie too. Tickets £8 in advance and £10 on the door available from this link here

In the evening, the Linley Tavern has live music with 'Tanky' with an electrifying 80's show. The music start at 8.30 pm Expect a selection of pop songs from the 50's to 2000 from artists and groups like Elvis, Billy Fury, Roy Orbison, Neil Diamond, Eddie Cochran, Billy Ocean, The Stranglers, Human League, Tears for Fears, Depeche Mode and Van Morrison to name a few.
