Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Thursday, 10 September

Alsager Town Council's Business Working Group has an open drop-in evening from 6 pm to 9 pm, at Alsager Civic in Lawton Road.

The event is open to anyone running a business in the town, whether that's a shop located in the town centre, working from home, or offering a trade or service.

Attendees can pop in at any point during the evening. No booking is required and refreshments will be provided.

The Linley Tavern has its weekly quiz night at 8pm. £1 to play!

The Lawton Arms in Church Lawton has its Thursday poker night from 8 pm until 11 pm. All welcome!

Alsager Jazz Club is at the Thirteen club with its weekly session. This week's features top trumpeter Graham South.

Graham South is a trumpeter and composer based in Manchester, UK. Since the mid-2000s he has been involved in a vast array of creative music-making.

It's on from 8pm until 10 pm and is £10 on the door.

Friday, 11 September

The Jerseys are live at Alsager Civic at 7.30 pm. Celebrate the timeless music of the 100 million album selling Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons.

Saturday, 12 September

Alsager Animals in Need has its monthly coffee morning held on the second Saturday of the month at Alsager Civic Alsager Animals in Need is a small and caring rescue covering Alsager and district, founded in 1987.

They offer shelter and veterinary care for stray and abandoned cats and dogs. We make every effort to trace the owner but, when unsuccessful, we then aim to re-home. All homes are vetted prior to re-homing and advice and support is offered thereafter.

Alsager Civic has its 80s Mania Night with iconic tunes spinning from 7.30 pm.. Think Madonna, Michael Jackson, Prince, and all your other '80s favourites. Tickets here £10 each here

Sunday, 13 September

Alsager Mind, Body and Spirit Event takes place at Alsager Civic from 10 am until 5 pm.

The event features various exhibitors and vendors offering products and services related to alternative medicine, spiritual healing, natural remedies, and much more.

You'll have the opportunity to explore different holistic practices, such as reiki, crystal healing, aromatherapy, and energy healing.
