Here are our top event picks for the coming days: 

Thursday, November 27th

Alsager Community Theatre's current production, 'Goodnight Mister Tom' is on at Alsager Civic.

The cast of talented actors also features local school children in lead roles and will send you back in time to the 1940's.

Set in rural wartime England evacuee William Beech finds himself in the company of lonely widower Thomas Oakley. It's a story of love, loss, friendship and family.

Friday, November 28th

Cooler days and nights call for a good book! Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road is open 10 am – 2 pm. Plenty of books to buy, many of them brand new!

There's an amazing group of singers performing 'The Winter Showcase' at St Mary Magdalene's Church in Alsager at 7.30 pm in aid of cancer sufferers. Join them for an enchanting evening filled with festive songs and holiday cheer as they raise money for MacMillan.

There will be local singers, the MicWire choir a charity raffle and mince pies. Tickets are £8 in advance or £11 on the door. Tickets available here or on the door.

At Bod Alsager, there's live music from 7 pm with Regan Webb.

Saturday, November 29th

St Mary's Magdalene's Church in Alsager has a Christmas Craft and Gift Market from 10 am until 2pm. A chance to pick up some handcrafted Christmas gifts.

Do you love art? There's an exhibition on in Alsager until 10 January which shouldn't be missed. It's on in the upstairs gallery at the Two Doors Studio in Crewe Road. The gallery is open during usual shop hours. Admission is free. Entry to the exhibition is via the Two Doors Studio front door on Crewe Road. https://www.twodoorsstudio.co.uk/

Alsager Town Football Club aka The Bullets are away to Stafford Town with a 3 pm kick-off. Support your local club!

Sunday, November 30th

Fancy having a festive afternoon and picking up some Christmas gifts as well? Alsager Golf Club Linley in Linley Lane has a Christmas Fayre on from 2 pm until 6 pm. Entrance is free.
