Friday, November 14th

Cooler days and nights call for a good book! Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road is open 10 am – 2 pm. Plenty of books to buy, many of them brand new!

Saturday, November 15th

Great event for animal lovers - the Animal Rescue Fair at the Wade Centre in nearby Kidsgrove.

Bringing all kinds of animal rescues together along with lovely craft and gift stalls to help with your Christmas shopping, this is a great opportunity to get in some Christmas shopping.

Organised by the Potteries Guinea Pig Rescue, it's a pet friendly event and dogs on leads are welcome. The event takes place from 10 am until 3 pm. Admission is free. Read our article here about  Alsager Vets4Pets's vet Becky Tracey who fosters for the Potteries Guinea Pig Rescue.

Do you love art? There's an exhibition on in Alsager until 10 January which shouldn't be missed. It's on in the upstairs gallery at the Two Doors Studio in Crewe Road. The gallery is open during usual shop hours. Admission is free. Entry to the exhibition is via the Two Doors Studio front door on Crewe Road. https://www.twodoorsstudio.co.uk/

In Church Lawton, there's an indoor car boot sale at the Lawton Memorial Hall from 10 am until 1 pm.
