Three comedy heavyweights are coming to Alsager to delight local audiences

Three of the UK's biggest and brightest comedians are coming to Alsager.
Comedians John Bishop, Peter Kay and Jason Manford have both heaped praise on the line-up appearing at Alsager Civic on Friday, June 13th.
The trio are true legends and feature one who came third in Britain's Got Talent as well as an appearance on the Royal Variety Performance and Phoenix Nights.
Mick Ferry, described by Jason Manford as 'an absolute legend' while John Bishop said 'see him or regret it' and , Steve Royle, described by Peter Kay as 'brilliant ', Amit Mistry and MC Karen Bayley ("Gales of laughter" British Comedy Guide) appear in the top line-up at Alsager Civic.
"Few are funnier than Comedy Store and Frog & Bucket veteran Mick Ferry," said a spokesperson. "Whether he's running with a scatterbrained idea, an audience suggestion or dipping into his extensive mental files of absolute, top drawer gags and routines, the end result is a barrage of laughter from a very happy audience and that is what we are all about."
Steve Royle, has been described as 'a first rate comedy act with unashamed vaudevillian echoes. A highly skilled juggler, Steve holds the official world records for balancing a Christmas tree on his chin and an ironing board on his foot. "
Amit Mistry takes the middle spot andthe compere for the evening is Karen Bayley - whose infectious giggle and devastating one-liners make her a comedic force to be reckoned with.
Tickets, which cost £15, are selling fast but a few are still available through this link here. You can also buy your cheeseboards online too here - small cheeseboards are £12, large ones are £24. Doors and bar open at 6.30pm with the first act starting at 8pm.
