Alsager will literally be 'bursting with pride' when the town's annual event takes to the streets this weekend with a change of venue.

In the past, Pride in Alsager has been held at Alsager Cricket Club but this year, it's moving to the centre of Alsager and Alsager Civic.

And to celebrate, organisers have put together a top list of live entertainment with Kelly Wilde, Rob King, Sami Brookes, Kelley Tigerheart, Andy Hofton, Fonda D, Stella Black and Circa 81.

There will be stalls from businesses and organisations as well as a bar and for the first time, there is a dog competition, 'Pooches with Pride' - a chance for your four-legged friends to take centre stage.

Crowds are expected to gather once again for Pride in Alsager 2025 which takes place this Saturday - August 2nd.

A spokesperson said: "We'll have entertainment, stalls, our parade and much more, so save the date."

A colourful flash mob parade will walk through the streets starting at 11.30 am to Alsager Civic with 11:30 am and 12 noon start for the day event at Alsager Civic.

There is also a Pride After party with 'Pride at Night at Alsager Civic with tickets costing £9.38 with perfromances from local drag queen legends Fonda Dixx and Stella Black plus a live DJ.
