The days are getting brighter and Spring is just around the corner - the perfect time to start getting out and about!

January might have tested us with its cold weather, high winds and rain but if you're looking for something to perk yourself up, there's plenty on offer at Alsager Civic.

Music is a great way to relax and The Replicators are bringing a mix of favourites guaranteed to get you dancing and singing.

Hot on the heels of the sold-out Oasis Tribute night, the BritPop mix group, The Replicators, are coming to Alsager on Friday, 6 March.

Are you a fan of the Courteeners, Stereophonics or Stone Roses? Get yourself and your friends along to this great night which will also feature music by James and Pulp.

Feeling a little below par and need to put some laughter into your life? Look no further! Alsager Civic's Comedy Nights are legendary and the first one this year is on Friday, 13 March.

Tickets sell out fast, so don't miss out! Doors and bar open from 6.30 pm. and you can buy a cheeseboard small for two persons (£12) or large for four people (£24).

There's a great line-up. One man comic whirlwind Jack Gleadow first came to national attention when he won the 2018 Mercury Comedian of the Year, following in the hallowed footsteps of Manford, Vegas and Ranganathan.

Jack utilises every trick in the book to bring laughter from gags, cheesy pop, props, stories, advertising jingles and even a scooter to decisively win over the most difficult of audiences!

Next is Markus Birdman whose dad is a real life vicar and his uncle is a bishop. Neither of these facts have any bearing on his comedy whatsoever but he smashes it every time and the third name on the bill is Liverpudlian Jack Miller.

MC for the night is one half of the hit Dead Men Talking podcast "Freddy Quinne, who has been described as the "King of underground comedy" and a natural comic guaranteed to keep the show going.

Do you love Tina Turner? This one is for all Tina fans - who isn't? Simply The Best: Tina Turner Tribute takes place on Saturday, 28 March.

This spectacular Tina Turner tribute act, "Simply The Best", embarked on a singing and entertainment career, honing her performance and learning the art of entertainment and stage presence from the cabaret circuit around the North West of England. 

With her talents and bubbly vibrant personality she was soon to become established as a quality vocal entertainer, rapidly progressing to build a reputation nationally.

A spokesperson said: "Her performance as Tina Turner is incredible. As a lively bubbly energetic entertainer, she has the exact mannerisms, vocals and costumes to take on this powerful performer.
