The doors are open and the customers are flooding in!

It's been a long time coming but the drive-thru Starbucks in Alsager near the new Sainsbury's superstore site in Alsager is open.

Starbucks opened today ( Friday, 12 September) with the RSPCA officially cutting the ribbon and opening the store.

The first 100 customers going through the door got a free reusable cup which they can use to get 25p off future beverage purchases.

Alsager Nub News tried the new drive-thru which was slick and fast as well as the in-store offering inside which has the added bonus of being dog friendly.

There's also a section to the left as you walk in which is slightly quieter and perfect for hotdesking and using your laptop or catching up for work.

Cheshire East's planners gave approval for the application 24/2767C here in November last year.

The new Sainsbury's superstore on the same site opened in February this year as we revealed here .
