Rode Hall has announced that it is with a "heavy heart" that they have now decided to cancel this year's annual Snowdrop Walk event.

With lockdown regulations becoming "stricter by the day" the organisers felt that it would be "irresponsible" to remain open for the walks.

A spokesperson for Rode Hall & Gardens posted on their Facebook page: "We were sincerely hoping that the Snowdrop Walk would be able to provide a bit of respite into a gloomy February, but it is sadly not going to be possible.

"We are sorry if you have already booked your tickets, but you will be able to get a refund of the face value of the ticket by contacting TicketSellers.

"In the meantime, stay safe and well and we look forward to seeing everyone at Bluebell time."
