Music lovers had an amazing time at this year's Alsager Music Festival

We asked for readers to send in their photos of the weekend's Alsager Music Festival.

And as you can see rain failed to dampen spirits at Saturday's part of the fun-filled event at Milton Park.

Alsager Nub News reader, Beverly Dawson-Boyce, send us a wonderful selection of photos.

The music festival began in 2009 and is getting bigger and bigger every year and although umbrellas and Wellington boots were the order of the day, much fun was still had by all.

Many music lovers sheltered under gazebos while others held umbrellas and danced in the rain to a non-stop line-up of music.

On Sunday, the festival continued at various pubs across Alsager and organisers have already set the date for next year's annual event now attended by more than 5,000 people.

It's organised by a group of local musicians, music enthusiasts, members of Alsager Round Table, Alsager Partnership and the scouts who have already set a date for next year's music festival - July 13th - 14th.

We're grateful to readers who have sent in their photos so far. Do you go?
