An Alsager animal lover who launched her own business is getting ready to celebrate its first anniversary - by taking on another member of staff.

Heidi Moore grew up with animals and last year launched Active Tails , a dog walking and pet sitting service for dogs and cats,

The business celebrates its first birthday in June and Heidi is so busy that she taking on someone to cope with growing demand.

"There are so many more people I want to help but I have had to turn them away. Hopefully I can take someone on now to help pick up the extra work," said Heidi.

Heidi has always had animals and currently has a cat of her own, but loves other people's animals as much as her own.

She said in our previous article here : "I grew up with dogs and love everything about animals. I provide a service so people have a choice about catteries or kennels."

Heidi, who grew up in Alsager and went to Alsager School, provides a dog walking service, often early in the morning or later in the day.

"It's so important to keep pets healthy and happy. The word is really getting round and it's going better than I expected," she said.
