Organisers of Pride in Alsager are busy adding the finishing touches to their plans for their 'flashmob' parade this weekend.

There will be music, dance, wave rainbows and whistles through the town starting at 12.30 pm near the Spar Alsager in Crewe Road.

The group will then walk down Ashmore's Lane, along Station Road, finishing up at Milton Park where some members are planning to picnic.

Pride in Alsager are continuing their day of celebrations with an evening event at Alsager Social Club in Radway Green from 6pm - 1 am.

Entertainment includes the Double Denim Company, Hayley Elliott, Slugs Ate My Parents and Ruby Von-Trappe as well as a raffle.
