Pride in Alsager is holding an annual general meeting and is inviting as many people as possible to attend.

The group held an event in October last year which was a big success and are planning on building on this with the AGM.

Its first event this year will be the AGM which takes place on Sunday, June 12th at 4pm at Alsager Social Club in Longview Avenue.

A spokesperson said: "We were really heartened to see the enthusiasm and enjoyment of those who joined in our Pride.

"We'd like to ensure that as many people as possible are involved in our next events and the planning for future events and projects." 

"There will be a fun team quiz and refreshments will be provided at the AGM. This will be a great opportunity for people to meet members of Pride in Alsager and friends.

"We also hope that people will put forward ideas of what they would like to see in our community."
