Police have released a CCTV image of a man they'd like to speak to following the theft of chocolate in Alsager.

At around 7.30pm on 13 February a man walked into Sainsbury's on Crewe Road and took £54 worth of chocolate before leaving the store without paying.

PC Kate Ritchie said: "We're keen to speak to anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV image or who has any information that may help."

Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via the website (www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us) quoting 26000123663.

Alternatively information can be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
