Alsager Pharmacy in Lawton Road will be moving into part of the old Bank Corner building once it reopens.

Cheshire East gave the go-ahead for a former pub in Lawton Road to be converted into retail units and four apartments at the end of last year as reported here

The Bank Corner, which closed more than two years ago, will house retail units, including a pharmacy and café, in the former bar space on the ground floor.

Four self-contained apartments, comprising of two one-bedroom and two two-bed flats, will occupy the first floor of the Lawton Road building.

Manager of Alsager Pharmacy, Tina Burgess, told Alsager Nub News that they are waiting for a date to move.

She said: "We're very excited about it. It will be great to be in the centre of town. We'll have much more space with consultation rooms."
