Outline plans submitted to build up to 130 homes in Manor Farm, Alsager

Plans have been submitted to build up to 130 homes on Manor Farm in Alsager.

Hallam Land, part of Henry Boot, wants to develop the site with 'a strong community focus'.

The company has submitted outline planning for the development here which they say will include public open spaces, landscaping and integrated transport networks.

They say the homes will be within walking distance to a primary and secondary school, food stores, a health centre and sports clubs.

They say the site is approxmiately 6.60 hectares and comprises of greenfield land located next to the defined boundaryof Alsager.

It states there would be two vehicular access points via William Howell Way and Hulse Way. It also states there would be an "active travel and emergency route" from Cliff Aucott Crescent.

It also states that there would be 30 per cent affordable housing provision amounting to 39 affordable homes, including a mix of rent and intermediate housing.
