Organisers unveil all-star line-up for popular Rewind festival

Organisers of a Cheshire 1980s music festival have announced their all-star line-up.

Rewind North is a retro music festival devoted to pop music of the eighties, and has been held in our town since 2016.

And for the next edition of the Siddington music festival, 28 acts have just been confirmed.

The star-studding bill will play Capesthorne Hall on August 5 to August 7 2022.

Friday's headliner is Holly Johnson, of Frankie Goes to Hollywood fame. Meanwhile Saturday has Sheffield sythnpop outfit The Human League.

The acts, best known for their number one songs Relax and Don't You Want Me, are not the only chart-toppers to be performing at the Macclesfield event.

All-time UK no. 1 artist Jason Donavan will perform at the weekend, as well as The Go-Go's and pop solo artist Belinda Carlisle.

Other non-headliners include ska outfit The Selecter, and tongue-in-cheek ABBA tribute act Björn Again, who are one of few tribute acts to have recorded music which has also charted.
