One World Festival brings all corners of the community together in Alsager tomorrow
By Deborah Bowyer 2nd Oct 2026
One World is coming back to Alsager Civic Centre tomorrow (Saturday) with the theme 'Culture, Connection and Celebration'.
Alsager Ladies Circle took over the delivery of this event back in 2010 and it has gone from strength to strength since then getting bigger and better each year.
Now combined with Alsager Tangent, this year's event takes place from 9.30 am until 12.30 pm and as usual it takes place in Alsager Civic in Lawton Road.
The aim is to celebrate the richness and diversity of cultures in our community and to look at problems common to all such as reducing plastic use and promoting recycling.

A spokesperson said: "As well as 15 national stalls we have a large range of other stall holders including Gordon Deggs Tools with a Mission, Alsager Urban Initiative, Hope Uganda and many more.
"There will be craft activities from Messy Church, the ever popular 'henna girls' and an opportunity to make your own Mors bag.
"Entry and refreshments remain free and this year we are holding a fantastic raffle to raise funds for future One World events.
"So call in for a cuppa, sample some international cuisine, enjoy a range of performances and try your hand at a new craft activity whilst being part of our wonderful Alsager community."
