The owner of a world-class metal supplier building opening new offices in Alsager says the compeition date is set for the end of February.

Crewe-based Clarke Metals is moving to stylish new Scandinavian-style offices in Brookhouse Road this year.

Currently based at The Dairy at Crewe Hall Farm in Old Park Road, Crewe, the company will to the new offices, 'Park View', in January.

Managing director, Shaun Clarke, previously said Alsager's vibrant shops, restaurants and cafes was a major consideration for the move – something the firm's 'frequent' international visitors will get to experience.

"The new offices, now officially known as Park View , have been in planning , or at least on my wish list, since we first signed up for rented offices in Keele in the mid 1990's," said Mr Clarke.

"Initially we were agents for a number of Scandinavian based steel producers and processors, selling into numerous UK based industries."

He added: "I always admired the slick clean and happy work environment the Scandinavians had - something we're trying to emulate in Park View.

"All the guys are excited about being in the new offices and everything Alsager has to offer - shops, restaurants and café - something I'm sure our frequent international visitors will get to experience.
