Organisers of this year's Alsager Music Festival are busy adding the final preparations to what promises to be the biggest and best yet.

The popular event returns to the town on Saturday, July 16th in its usual place - Milton Park in Crewe Road. A number headline acts have already been confirmed.

On Sunday July 17th, there's music at Bar 6 and The Lodge.

Since launching in 2009, the annual event has become one of the best small festivals in Cheshire, offering a range of music and acts across multiple stages.

As in previous years, the family-friendly festival will have a wide variety of food and drink stalls as well as people being able to bring their own refreshments with them.

A spokesperson said: "The line-up of music for Saturday has been finalised and is available to view on our website https://alsagermusicfestival.co.uk/ and we are pleased to announce the following acts – Julia Mosley, Ruby J, Fine Lines Double Denim Company, Henry Myles and Chris Tavener.

"The line-ups for our Sunday events ae currently being finalised and will start to be announced over the next few week.

"Tickets for the event are on sale through https://www.skiddle.com/ and via our website.

"Tickets are priced £6 plus booking fee for adults and £4 plus booking fee for under 18s (babies free)."
