A General Election has been called in the UK on Thursday, July 4.

Alsager residents will head to the polls to decide who will be their next Member of Parliament. Alsager falls under the Congleton constituency.

Alsager's MP since 2010 has been Fiona Bruce who was relected in the last General Election in 2019 with 33,747 votes.

The other candidates standing in the General Election for the Congleton constituency are:

Sarah Russell for the Labour Party

Paul Duffy for the Liberal Democrats

Rich McCarthy for the Green Party

Martin York for Reform UK

Rob Moreton Independent
