Man, 33, arrested after Range Rover collides with HGV and restaurant

A 33-year-old man was arrested and was due to appear at Chester Magistrates' Court today (Thursday) following a collision yesterday.
Cheshire Police say they were called to reports of a collision in Crewe Road, Alsager at 1.13 pm on Wednesday.
A police spokesperson said: "Officers attended the scene and found that a Black Range Rover had collided with a HGV and a restaurant.
"There are no reports of any injuries.
"The driver of the car, a 33-year-old man from Talke, was arrested at the scene.
"Naveed Rahma of Woodshutts Street, Talke, has since been charged with driving without a licence, aggravated vehicle taking, failing to provide a breath specimen for analysis, driving without insurance and breaching bail conditions."
Police say he was remanded in custody to appear at Chester Magistrates' Court today, Thursday June 16th.
