A charity for people suffering with life-changing illnesses is reopening its bereavement support service from Thursday (22 October).

Keystone Support Centre's bereavement support service is available to anyone whose GP is based in Alsager or Scholar Green and is having difficulty coping with the loss of a loved one.

Keystone Support Centre will be open at the Lawton Memorial Hall in Church Lawton from 1.30pm to 4pm on Thursdays.

If you wish to attend contact Joyce Key on 01270 875383 or 07753366180.

A spokesperson for Keystone Support Centre posted on social media: "Our bereavement support is not a counselling service, they use the power of listening and we give support and understanding on a one-to-one basis as well as in a group where appropriate.

"Lawton Memorial Hall is safe and spacious, both the hall authorities and Keystone have procedures in place to minimise risk, all attendees will be required to wear a face covering except when seated."
