Level crossing at Alsager Station has reopened to traffic

The level crossing by Alsager Station has now reopened to all traffic.

Network Rail had been on the scene at Audley Road, Alsager, making sure the barriers were in safe working condition as quick as possible.

Earlier today (Tuesday, 15 December) it was reported that a lorry had hit the rail barrier, by the level crossing.
