Latest figures show 75 crimes in Alsager in January

The latest crime figures released by police show there were 75 crimes in the Alsager area during January 2021.

These figures compare to 80 crimes the previous month and 86 in January 2020.

From the 75 recorded incidents, these included 40 violence and sexual offences, 23 incidents of anti-social behaviour, four criminal damage and arson incidents and eight listed as 'other crime'.

The eight incidents listed as 'other crime' included:

- Vehicle crime: 3

- Public order: 2

- Drugs: 1

- Other crime: 2

Crime figures for February 2021 have not yet been released.
