Latest figures show 64 crimes in Alsager in February

The latest crime figures released by police show there were 64 crimes in the Alsager area during February 2021.

These figures compare to 75 crimes the previous month and 51 in February 2020.

From the 64 recorded incidents, these included 27 violence and sexual offences, 26 incidents of anti-social behaviour, seven public order incidents and four listed as 'other crime'.

The four incidents listed as 'other crime' included:

- Criminal damage and arson: 1

- Shoplifting - 1

- Theft - 1

- Other crime: 1

Crime figures for March 2021 have not yet been released.
