The Action for Alsager group in Alsager is urging residents to fill in a survey to find out their views on proposed parking charges.

Alsager Nub News revealed here in July how Cheshire East councillors voted in favour of reviewing parking charges across the borough and going out to public consultation.

At present there are no charges in some of the borough's towns, including Alsager, Cheshire East councillors voted to go out to consultation in September at their highways committee meeting in July.

However, the Action for Alsager group in Alsager has introduced its own survey, asking local residents to take part.  This is ahead of Cheshire East Council's public consultation.

It says: "Your local Labour team has campaigned and opposed car parking charges in Alsager and we want to hear your views.

"So, whether you are a resident, visitor or a local business owner, we want to hear your views on car parking in Alsager and how it impacts on you."

Alsager residents are being invited to fill out the quick survey here or email their views to [email protected] .

They can also email the rest of the Labour team - [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected]
