An Alsager woman has set up her own business offering support and help to those in the town needing it.

Former healthcare assistant, Jackie Brown from Nightingale Way, has launched the Alsager Neighbourly Support.

The 63-year-old has cared for others in the past and now wants to spread some of her 'caring magic' in Alsager.

She is offering a service to do grocery shopping, tidy up your home, prepare meals, collect prescriptions or just have a chat and coffee.

She said: "Alsager is a wonderful town and the people are so friendly and caring.

"I moved here to be closer to my daughter and now I want to work in the local area using my skills."

Jackie moved to the town 16 months ago and has worked in hospitals in Lichfield where she is from.

She has also cared for people in the community and has a passion for helping others.

Jackie has set up a Facebook page here for the business with contact details and phone number on.

She says: "With a heart full of compassion and a decade of experience in community caring, I'm thrilled to offer my helping hand to you or a family member who needs some support."

Alsager Nub News wishes Jackie much success with her new business.
