Trainee Counsellor Role - Alsager

Association of Learning are looking for individuals to join their growing team of tutors at their highly rated distance learning centre.

They currently have a number of vacancies for tutors needed to assist their learners in studying their accredited counselling courses.

Association of Learning offer competitive hourly rates (average of £15 per hour increasing to £19.50 with bonuses) and flexible working hours, meaning you can fit your work around your family life.

Support is provided via the online Learner Management System, so all you need is a computer with an internet connection to perform in this role.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate the relevant qualifications in order to be considered for the role.

However, for those lacking the required qualifications, there is an opportunity for a selection of applicants to enter a tutor training programme.

On completion of training, the applicant will be eligible for a tutoring position with Association for Learning on a freelance basis (based on passing a tutor suitability test). The cost of the training is £495 and can be completed within three months.

Successful applicants would also be able to practise as a counsellor or work for other distance learning centres.

Nurse Seekers' client is opening a brand new 45 bedded nursing home based in Kidsgrove for individuals with complex mental and physical needs.

They are currently looking for an experienced Registered Manager to join the company to run the state-of-the-art complex.

Required Skills and Experience

- Extensive Clinical Expertise in managing Mental Health

- Managing teams of multidisciplinary staff

- Experience in managing in a nursing home environment

- Must meet the fit and proper person criteria for the role with CQC

- Budgetary management

Criteria

- Qualified RMN, RNLD or RGN

- NVQ4 in management or equivalent

- Four/five years post registration experience in a professional role in a clinical environment

Support Worker - Female - Kidsgrove

Dimensions are looking for Female Support Workers in the ST7 area of Stoke-on-Trent area.

Dimensions are an award-winning support provider for people who have a mild to moderate learning disability and/or autism.

They teach people the skills they need to be able to live independently in their own home.

Dimensions support people with daily living skills, relationship building, finances, medication and provide full training that you will be paid for.

You will need a sound understanding of risk management to maintain appropriate structures and boundaries, as well as a non-judgemental attitude.

You will also need to be passionate about supporting adults to increase their independent living skills; with strong ambition for the people Dimensions support to facilitate positive community participation.

They are looking for people with a good knowledge of opportunities in the local area and a good understanding of community connections work.

Other key info: Part-time and relief contracts available. Full and extensive training is given so prior experience in this field is not essential.

Dimensions want the right people with the right attitudes and aptitudes, and they will provide training to develop the required skills.

An important part of supporting people at Dimensions is to support their development in order for them to live as independently as possible within the community.

The post involves commitment to sleep-in support in addition to waking hours support and therefore flexibility is essential.

- Building good working relationships with the people Dimensions support, their friends and families, your colleagues and external organisations involved with the people you support. You are required to show empathy and awareness for others' individuality, beliefs and cultures. You will recognise and challenge any bias, prejudice and discrimination.

Customer Assistant Part-Time - Lidl - Kidsgrove
