This role for is for an electrical engineer with a salary of £35,000 - £39,000 a year for a company based on the outskirts of Newcastle-under-Lyme.

The company is one of the leading meat and sausage providers in Europe. The successful applicant will provide support to the overnight production teams and will be supported by both day engineers and the head of the engineering team.

You will need a good working knowledge of programmable logic controls and control systems plus the ability to respond effectively to breakdowns and a knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance regimes.

The applicant will also have logical approach to fault finding and problem solving.
