It's Strictly fab-u-lous … Mark dances his way on to Radio 2 with Claudia Winkleman

Cheshire's 'Mr Strictly' aka professional dancer Mark Farrugia is hoping to pick up even more dance tips when he hot foots it on to radio next Saturday as a celebrity guest with TV presenter Claudia Winkleman.

The popular dance teacher, who travels all over Cheshire and Staffordshire with his weekly classes, has found his dance magic is now in the spotlight with bosses of Strictly Come Dancing.

Mark, who gives classes at Alsager Civic every Monday night, got an email from BBC Radio 2 this week asking if he wanted to be part of Claudia Winkleman's Strictly panel on radio.

Mark has danced at professional level and set up his classes "Strictly Latin Dance Fit/Fit steps" due to his love of the legendary TV dance show.

Sandbach Nub News and Alsager Nub News told recently how TV regional news BBC Midlands Today filmed one of Mark's classes click .

He says he can't wait to talk to Claudia and hear all about Strictly and latest news and gossip plus sharing some of his dance knowledge and views.

Mark said: "I'm incredibly excited about next Saturday. She seems such a lovely person. I watch Strictly every Saturday night.

"I just love the show and it was that programme which led me to launch my classes. Everyone loves Strictly and dancing is such good fun.

"My students love coming to my classes. Classes are booming and it's just wonderful to see everyone having such a good time."

Mark is due to appear on radio at 11.30 am on Saturday November 6th and Nub News for one will be listening to hear what our famous dancer has to say.
