Hair and beauty business comes up with gem of an idea for jewellery lovers
Imagine jumping in the shower or going swimming and not having to take your jewellery off first.
How many of us have put a delicate bracelet down somewhere and lost it and spent ages searching high and low for it?
An Alsager hair salon owner and a beauty business owner have come up with the perfect solution - permanent jewellery which you wear all the time!
Megan Atkins and Ellie Graham are combining their expertise and skills to launch a new jewellery business inside Megan Victoria in Sandbach Road South.
Megan and Ellie are launching a new business called 'Linked by E & M' inside the hair and beauty salon.
And they are both excited about the venture which they say allows customers to create a unique piece of jewellery with a charm of their choice.
"We spotted the idea and thought we'd go for it," said Megan. "You can have all kinds of charms from your birthstone to other designs.
"It's a unique piece of jewellery taiolred to the individual. The jewellery doesn't tarnish and you get a cleaning cloth when you buy it."
Ellie runs her beauty business from Megan's salon and is equally excited about the launch.
"The bracelets are welded on to fit the customer's measurements. You can design it exactly as you want and choose the chain you want."
The range also includes ankle bracelets, necklaces and rings.
Both Megan and Ellie have trained for the products and are holding a launch party at the salon next Sunday (March 9th).
"It's a great chance to come along and see what it's all about and have some fun," said Megan who is also recruiting for another stylist.
"We're proud of the business and want to offer as much as we can for our customers in a comfortable environment."
Anyone is welcome to attend next weekend's launch from 1 pm until 5 pm which will also include nibbles and prosecco as well as other stalls.
