A new shop opens in Alsager tomorrow (Saturday) and it's a dream come true for a former nursery teacher who has swapped the classroom for waging a war on sustainable living.
Fifty-three year-old Rose King has left an academic career of 22 years to open her own shop in Lawton Road, Alsager as we revealed here
And tomorrow she opens the doors on 'Rose's Refills' which aims to offer 'a sustainable solution' to plastic packaging.
Rose said she's been overwhelmed already with the feedback she has received while getting the new shop ready.
"It's about everyone making one small change and thinking about the future," she said.
"Come in and have a look what we have on offer and try it for yourself. Bring along your own empty containers or jars or we have them here to buy.
"I can't wait to welcome everyone inside to try what we have available and have a look around,"
