AFC Alsager beat local rivals Alsager Town Reserves 2-0 on Saturday to progress into the next round of the league cup.

Second half goals from Dan Ward and Jake Chadwick gave the Swans that derby day winning feeling at Wood Park.

The Bullets went down to ten men on the half hour mark after one of their players was sent off.

AFC Alsager travel to Audley & District in the next round of the cup on Saturday, whilst the Bullets will be targeting a return to winning ways when they host Buxton in the league.
